Meet Dr. Piper Dizak

Dr. Dizak hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Pittsburgh and both her Doctor of Dental Medicine and Certificate of Advanced Study in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She remains excited to work alongside Dr. Colter and to provide patient-centered care for your child.

During her dental training, Dr. Dizak was able to acquire a vast array of skills in behavior management, had the opportunity to provide care under a variety of pharmacologic treatment modalities, and was able to gain extensive experience in treating patients with special healthcare needs of all ages. She also had the privilege of providing dental care to a underserved population during a volunteer mission trip to Jamaica. She is dedicated to ensuring a comfortable and positive environment for each patient, and strives to incorporate the current research into her pediatric dental practices. 

She also had the opportunity throughout her undergraduate and graduate training to participate in and publish several dental-related research articles. These publications focus on dental topics such as genetic components of tooth decay, dental erosion, and orthodontic alignment. 

Dr. Dizak is a board-certified pediatric dentist recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Additionally, she currently holds memberships with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, and Southwest Society of Pediatric Dentistry.

Outside the office , you can find Dr. Dizak in group fitness classes, walking her rescue collie on the Katy Trail, and cheering on Dallas sports teams!
